Dan Tallon made it through the City Council Primary yesterday:
Susan Mims was the top vote-getter with 75 percent, followed by Terry Dickens at 71 percent, unofficially. The final two spots were claimed by University of Iowa students Jeff Shipley at 15 percent and Dan Tallon at 11 percent.
Tuesday's top four vote-getters will advance to the Nov. 3 general election where they will compete for the two at-large council seats being vacated by Amy Correia and Mike O'Donnell.Congratulations Dan, and all the rest of the candidates.
